Since last time....

Nothing much to report since our last post.  It's been a quiet summer which is nice.  We enjoyed some time ridding bikes and just hanging out.  Emma learned how to ride her own little bike, and also enjoyed her first zoo experience on the 4th of July weekend.

We had our annual labor day camping trip with the family.  It was a little chilled but we had a great time hanging out with family and playing around at the park.

With the end of summer coming we tried to get a couple camping trips in our last one being in a couple weeks, but the most recent trip was definitely chilly but none the less we still had a good time.

One of our last camping trips.  The temperature never got above 65 the whole weekend but obviously that did stop our little girl from enjoying the outdoors.

Lastly, on our way home from our camping trip from Lake Sakakawea State Park we saw this oil pad.  This is one of the mega pads that are in North Dakota.  On this one there are 11 active pumps and within a 2 mile radius there were 7 more pads all of them had a drilling rig on them and also at least 2-4 active pumps already going.  This is definitely an active area.

It's finally done!!!

It has been almost 2 years since the ground was broken for the Williston Area Recreation Center (ARC) and it is now completed and open for business!  The ARC is a state-of-the-art, 250,000+ square foot center that has indoor walking/running tracks, cardio/weight lifting areas and indoor water parks.  Below are some pictures of the inside on opening night.  None of us wanted to leave, it is so much more than we expected.

I Love this place

Basketball courts

Playing on the indoor turf.  We definitely love this place.

Another year has come and gone, and how fast it has gone by.   You were once so little and fragile,  and now so bid and feisty.  Each day you show us something new.  Keep growing and learning my baby girl and and may you continue to show us new things.  We love you Emma and Happy Birthday!
